Dr. Matthew Liesen, DDS

Dr. Matthew Liesen is an Illinois native growing up in Chicago Heights. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. He later attended the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, where he was a member of its very first graduating class!

Dr. Liesen started his career in dentistry working in public health at the Pike County Health Department in Pittsfield, Illinois. He later moved from public health to working in a private practice in Peoria, Illinois. After that, Liesen Family Dental was founded!

Having recently moved from Detroit, I was at a lost about which dentist to see for my checkups, etc. I happened to meet Dr. Liesen's dental hygenist and she told me how incredible her boss, Dr. Liesen is. I decided to make an appointment with him because I figured that if an employee raves about their boss, the boss must be fabulous! She is right! He is a wonderful, caring, knowlegable, GENTLE, experienced dentist! In fact, I would say he is the BEST dentist have ever been to! Dr. Liesen placed an implant in my mouth and it feels as if it has always been there...no pain, no complications! Additionally, having been to the office several times this summer I have never endured an endless wait to be seen. The office is run so efficiently and I sincerely appreciate that too!
