Dr. Matthew Liesen
Dr. Matthew Liesen is an Illinois native growing up in Chicago Heights. He graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. He later attended the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, where he was a member of its very first graduating class!
Dr. Liesen started his career in dentistry working in public health at the Pike County Health Department in Pittsfield, Illinois. He later moved from public health to working in a private practice in Peoria, Illinois. After that, Liesen Family Dental was founded!
One of Dr. Liesen’s major hobbies is homebrewing his own beer, a skill that he has been perfecting for many years. Dr. Liesen has also run the Chicago Marathon FOUR times. He would love to get to know you and your family and be your dentist of choice for years to come!
